Advantages

Wynn's Multi-Purpose Grease contains the following chemical additives and is formulated to provide the benefits listed under each ingredient.

ANTI-WEAR EXTREME PRESSURE AGENTS:
  • Provide high temperature extreme pressure properties to opposing metal components subjected to extreme loads and high temperatures.
  • Reduce component wear between opposing surfaces during periods of high temperature loading.
  • Extend component life by preventing wear.
  • Provide protection over a wide range of operating temperatures under high load conditions.
  • Prevent scuffing and galling.
OXIDATION INHIBITORS:
  • Extend grease life by reducing oxidation.
  • Reduce the formation of high temperature deposits.
RUST AND CORROSION INHIBITORS:
  • Prevent rust and corrosion of metallic components under humid and wet conditions.
  • Extend component life by preventing rust and corrosion.
Wynn's Multi-Purpose Grease is also formulated to provide the following advantages:
  • Separate opposing metal surfaces, thereby reducing wear.
  • Be highly resistant to water washout.
  • Have a dropping point in excess of 180°C.
  • Be stable over a wide temperature range.
  • Resist breakdown as a result of mechanical action.
  • Meet the requirements of NLGI grade No. 2.
