Wynn's Fuel Injector Cleaner contains concentrated detergents and dispersants guaranteed to clean dirty injectors with just one usage. Fuel injector cleaner is compatible with catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, and all other new fuel system components.

THE PROBLEM

Fuel injected vehicles are becoming more and more common in the United States. All new gasoline-powered vehicles are equipped with some form of fuel injection system. A fuel injector delivers a controlled spray of gasoline into the intake manifold of the engine from where it is drawn into the cylinders by the action of the intake valves. The most popular arrangement is the multi-port fuel injection system, in which each cylinder is supplied by one injector. Less common is a throttle-body design where a single fuel injector supplies the intake manifold, which then feeds the cylinders. Fuel injection systems provide a controlled supply of fuel to the engine, improving engine efficiency and performance, while reducing emissions in modern three-way catalyst vehicles equipped with oxygen sensors. Certain grades of gasoline have been found to create deposits on the tips of the fuel injectors. These deposits can reduce the amount of fuel delivered by the injector, and they can also adversely affect the spray pattern from the injector nozzle, which is essential to optimum engine performance. Deposits are particularly troublesome with multi-port fuel injection systems. Usually some of the injectors will plug more than others, with the result that not all the cylinders will receive the same amount of fuel. The consequences are erratic engine performance, loss of power, "stumbling", etc. These problems can occur with as little as 1,500 miles of driving

THE SOLUTION

Plugged fuel injectors are difficult to clean and require a higher concentration of detergents and dispersants than dirty carburetors and other fuel system components. Wynn's Injector Cleaner contains concentrated detergents and dispersants guaranteed to clean dirty injectors with just one usage. Wynn's injector cleaner is compatible with catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, and all other new fuel system components. Injection systems are extremely vulnerable to rust and corrosion due to water found in almost all fuel tanks. Wynn's Injector Cleaner contains a powerful dose of rust and corrosion inhibitors to prevent rust and resulting in expensive repairs. A "fluidizer oil" is present to prevent deposits from adhering to and "backing onto" hot metal surfaces. The fluidizer oil also lubricates and conditions fuel system components.
